School Empowerment Program

We were actively working with two schools in rural Punjab. Every quarter, we conducted workshops for teachers at the school. The workshop's agenda was mapped to bi-weekly observations and debriefs over the quarter, addressing gaps identified during observations in consultation with the principal and academic coordinators of the school. At the beginning of the academic session, we conducted a need analysis on multiple aspects of the school, including classroom management, pedagogical practices, assessment design and evaluation, parent engagement, teacher professional development, facilities offered to students, and children's actions inside the school. The need analysis was usually completed in 3 to 4 school days. We then submitted a report to the principal and school management, proposing our next steps. This was followed by quarterly workshops and weekly observations and debriefs.
